Micah Broughton Curtis

Dr. Micah Broughton grew up in a small rural town in Kentucky. At the young age of 5, she realized her dream of being a veterinarian and began accruing her veterinary medicine experience working as a veterinary assistant in high school working with both small and large animals. She continued to work in
animal veterinary clinics throughout her entire academic career, committing her time to small animal-focused practices.

She attained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bellarmine University in
Louisville, Kentucky. She then went on to attend The Ohio State University where she graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Dr. Broughton has always been passionate about preserving the human-animal bond and has taken a special interest in animal behavior. She is committed to making patient visits as Fear Free and positive as possible. Alongside behavior cases, Dr. Broughton strongly enjoys soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, and geriatric care.

She adores time spent with her husband, two cats (a three-legged calico and an all-legged orange tabby)
and Norwegian Elkhound. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys drawing/painting, writing poetry,
and playing tennis.
