Kimberly Davey, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kim Davey was born and raised in Medina and graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio where she majored in Biology. She worked at the Columbus Zoo and as a veterinary assistant in Columbus for 2 years before attending The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her DVM, Dr. Davey worked in Zanesville for 2 years and then at an equine practice in Delaware, Ohio. In 1999, she returned home to join Animal Medical Centre of Medina.
Dr. Davey and her husband, Greg, have 3 sons and the family enjoys travelling together. Their favorite spot is the family cottage on a lake in Muskoka, Ontario, but they have roadtripped all over the US, trying to visit as many national parks as they can.
At home, Dr. Davey has 2 dogs (a rescue mix named Phoenix and a crazy Aussie named Goose), 2 cats (Percy and Blitzen), and a paint horse named Jazz.
Professionally, Dr. Davey enjoys working on behavior cases and internal medicine and feels lucky that the staff at AMC is like family.
