Animal Medical Centre of Medina is looking for a reliable and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our veterinary team. This is a great opportunity for a responsible high school student or anyone interested in gaining experience in the veterinary field while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets.

Our Kennel Attendants play an important role in keeping our hospital clean, safe, and comfortable while providing attentive care to boarding and hospitalized pets. If you’re dependable, caring, and ready to learn, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

• Feed, water, and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets
• Provide gentle and attentive care to animals throughout their stay
• Clean kennels, runs, and common areas
• Assist with laundry and general facility upkeep
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and boarding pets
• Follow established animal care, cleaning, and safety protocols
• Observe pets and communicate concerns to the veterinary team
• Support team members with additional tasks as needed

What You’ll Bring

• A reliable and responsible approach to your work
• Compassion and patience when caring for animals
• Prior animal-handling experience preferred
• The ability to work independently and follow established protocols
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
• The ability to stay organized and complete tasks consistently
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Availability for afternoon shifts, weekends, and some holidays
• An interest in veterinary medicine and animal care is a plus
